About the Role

The Executive Pastry Chef is a senior leadership role responsible for the entire Bakery & Pastry operation. This includes everything from fine dining desserts, afternoon tea, amenities to special event creations and bespoke requests. This role plays a key role in defining the hotel's culinary identity often contributing to its reputation, awards, and guest experience.

  • Proven management experience in luxury hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, or high-end pastry kitchens
  • Advanced expertise in desserts, chocolate and sugar work, and bakery fundamentals
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience with menu development and creative direction
  • Solid understanding of cost control, budgeting, and kitchen operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Flexibility to work varied hours
  • Takes pride in own professional grooming
  • Ability and resilience to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
