APC partners with Operating Partners and Portfolio Companies globally to unlock transformative value using Adobe's integrated technology.

As the Adobe Private Capital Enterprise Architect, you will be the senior technical authority within the APC team. You will work at the intersection of deep technical architecture and value creation, advising PE/VC/SWF firms and their portfolio companies on how to maximise ROI from Adobe solutions and the broader ecosystem. This role demands strong foundational technical capability across Adobe's full portfolio, cloud architectures, and third party integrations, while maintaining a relentless focus on business outcomes, value hypotheses, and measurable value realisation for capital allocators and their portfolios.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the APC team and regional field technical teams to translate value hypotheses into robust technical architectures and roadmaps that deliver measurable value creation for portfolio companies.
  • Working with regional field technical teams lead the design of end to end solution architectures across Adobe Digital Experience, Digital Media, and the wider ecosystem, including complex integrations with third party platforms, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and legacy systems.
  • Conduct technical assessments and North Star architecture reviews for priority portfolio companies, defining current state, target state, and transition roadmaps aligned to PE value levers (EBITDA improvement, revenue growth, operational efficiency).
  • Develop compelling technical cases and business cases that link Adobe capabilities to portfolio company priorities, supporting pipeline acceleration and executive decision making with Operating Partners and C level stakeholders.
  • Provide architecture oversight during pre and post sales phases, ensuring seamless transition into value realisation, governance model execution, and long term adoption of Adobe solutions.
  • Collaborate with Adobe product, engineering, and services teams to influence roadmap priorities and deliver customised solutions that address unique PE/VC/SWF requirements.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to APC leadership, regional teams, and external stakeholders, delivering thought leadership through workshops, executive briefings, and industry events.
  • Contribute to joint governance models by defining technical milestones, risk mitigation strategies, and performance metrics that track value realisation across portfolio engagements.
  • Stay at the forefront of cloud architecture patterns, integration best practices, and emerging technologies (AI, generative AI, data platforms) to strengthen Adobe's positioning within private capital value creation playbooks.

What you need to succeed:

  • 10+ years of enterprise architecture or senior technical presales experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or digital transformation environments, with proven success in complex, multi-solution engagements.
  • Strong technical depth across Adobe Digital Experience and Digital Media solutions, plus broad knowledge of cloud architectures, API integrations, data platforms, and third party ecosystem technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect technical architecture decisions directly to business value outcomes, financial impact, and PE/VC style value creation frameworks.
  • Experience working with Private Equity, Venture Capital, or large enterprise transformation programs is highly advantageous.
  • Outstanding advisory and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to C level executives, Operating Partners and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project and program management skills to drive technical alignment across matrixed teams and ensure on time delivery of commitments.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker who can develop clear roadmaps, manage objections, and provide compelling thought leadership.
  • Passion for digital innovation and a proactive, collaborative approach in a global, dynamic organisation.
