Social Work Choice is recruiting for an Early Help Caseworker to join the Enfield Council team. The role involves providing holistic assessments of families and coordinating support packages to empower positive change. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing family relationships and improving educational outcomes for children.

Duties

  • Manage a caseload, coordinating multi-agency support for families.
  • Conduct family assessments using Early Help Framework and Signs of Safety model.
  • Chair Teams Around the Family (TAF) meetings and lead parenting programs.
  • Maintain detailed case documentation and adhere to safeguarding procedures.
  • Evaluate service effectiveness and promote equality and diversity.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant experience in direct work with children, young people, and families.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse communities and partner agencies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in IT.
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary team settings and achieving positive outcomes for families.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Child Care, Education, Health.
