We're looking for a Director, Origination (Speciality Finance) to join us in London. Liberty Blume Speciality Finance (LBSF) offers a varied product range, from core products including Supply Chain Finance and Securitisation to products in development such as inventory finance, portfolio receivables financing, prepayment/trade advance, leasing and asset as a service. LBSF generally targets sub investment grade rated companies (while also serving investment grade organisations) and is focused on telecoms, with expanding interest in adjacent industries.

Responsibilities

  • Originate discussions and drive partnership development by contacting relevant industry players through personal networks, LBSF/Liberity Global relationships, and reverse inquiries.
  • Act as key point of contact for these organisations, representing LBSF and driving growth initiatives.
  • Provide meaningful insight into potential client requirements and desired solutions, and support the development of new product solutions as needed.
  • Pitch solutions to clients and tailor offerings to meet specific requirements.
  • Oversee the sales process from initial meetings to supporting structuring conversations and closing transactions.
  • Provide market intelligence on working capital financing solutions, suitable companies, and structural or strategic changes that may affect client availability or portfolios.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant experience in Structured Finance, Corporate Finance, or Transactional Banking.
  • Experience in working capital financing sales.
  • Existing client portfolio required, including a number of potentially suitable target clients.
  • Knowledge of working capital market intelligence.
  • Prior experience with inventory financing is a plus.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication with potential clients and partners (internal and external).
  • Ability to evaluate client needs and source relevant opportunities.
  • Facilitate introductions and oversee discussions from initial meetings through to the sales process and deal closure.
