We are looking for an experienced UCC Doctor to join our Casualty First team at HJE. This is a Bank role. Our Walk-in Urgent Care service is to treat minor non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses for adults and children from age one. Located at the front of the hospital, the Urgent Care Clinic is open 7 days a week and offers almost instant access to doctors.

Main duties of the job:

  • The Urgent Care Clinic prides itself on offering the same friendly service provided at our hospital and the same excellent standards of care.

Job responsibilities:

  • Maintain a personal professional profile.
  • Adhere to GMC code of practice and ethics.
  • Support the team in achieving objectives of the department.
  • Participate in personal development planning and access training as appropriate or deemed necessary/mandatory by the hospital to improve service provision.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of clinical skills.
  • Support Casualty First manager by participating in team building and development.
  • Deputise for the clinical lead in his absence.
  • Document an accurate and methodical account of the client's journey and use departmental electronic records resources appropriately.
  • Ensure the efficient medical management of casualty cases.
  • Treat patients in a courteous and professional manner at all times.

Qualifications:

  • GMC Registered Doctor with Licence to practice.
  • Evidence of CPD.
  • Minimum of 2 years post graduation experience.
  • A & E experience.
  • Ongoing training and commitment to development.
