The award-winning ISM is the dynamic, change making professional body representing musicians. With a current membership of over 11,000, the ISM is known for its wide range of services to its members from legal to health and wellbeing. We are also known for our campaigning work on issues from music education to AI and Brexit.
Responsibilities
- Provide administration and secretarial support to the Chief Executive and Company Secretary.
- Ensure good governance at Board level, including preparing Board papers and drafting and circulating Board minutes.
- Draft a wide variety of correspondence.
- Assist with risk management tasks such as health and safety.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Strong administrative skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Experience ensuring good governance at Board level with board papers and minutes.
- Ability to demonstrate loyalty, discretion and confidentiality; good judgement.
- Desirable: music background.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Governance/Administration or as a PA/Secretary; accustomed to working to competing deadlines with high levels of accuracy.
- Based in or able to work in Bayswater, London (role based in Bayswater).
Role: 28 hours per week.
