A little about us: It all started in 2020, with our founder (Barney) baking cinnamon buns in his mum's kitchen during lockdown. Fast forward a few years, and Buns From Home is now a fast-growing family of bakeries scattered across London, loved for our iconic buns and exciting weekend specials. We're a cheerful, tight-knit team passionate about constantly creating really yummy baking that has our customers leaving us happy and full.

What we’re looking for: As the Multi Site General Manager, you will be a pivotal leader within the Buns From Home Bakery team, overseeing operations across multiple bakery sites. This dynamic role will encompass everything from financial forecasting and P&L planning to shaping the culture and values of the company through the teams you manage.

Here’s what you’ll be up to:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple locations ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Ensure all sites maintain the highest standards of product quality and customer service. Drive operational improvements and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Financial Management: Forecasting for each bakery, ensuring they meet set targets. Oversee stock management, ensuring minimal wastage and maximising profitability. P&L management. Facilitate maximisation of sales across sites and make data-driven decisions.
  • Team Management and Culture: Support the recruitment process, ensuring each site is adequately staffed with well-trained, passionate team members. Create a positive, inclusive culture where team members feel valued and motivated. Champion team welfare, ensuring a safe, fair, and empowering work environment for all.
  • Compliance and Health & Safety: Ensure each site is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Oversee and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring all staff are trained and that all sites maintain the utmost hygiene standards. Conduct regular checks and audits to ensure consistent compliance.
  • Culture and Brand Ambassador: Be the embodiment of the Buns From Home brand, ensuring the story and ethos of our origins remain central to our operations. Inspire teams with the brand’s story, ensuring this narrative is consistently communicated to our customers.

What we’d love you to bring: Proven experience in a multi-site management role, preferably in the bakery or food & beverage sector. Financial understanding with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. Demonstrated ability in team leadership and people management. Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
