The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and enjoys working as part of a team while providing excellent service to the public. Previous experience in General Practice is desirable. The position is part-time, with core working hours of 8.00am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is essential, as additional hours will be required to provide cover during colleagues' annual leave and other periods of absence.

Main duties of the job:

  • Answering the phones
  • Booking in patients
  • Administering repeat prescriptions
  • Scanning, referrals and dealing with all types of queries
  • Sending emails and chasing letters from hospitals

Patient care is paramount and the candidate would need to be caring along with efficient. We use System One but the candidate would also need to be confident with Windows.

About us:

We are a busy surgery with over 7000 patients. We have 2 partners and 4 salaried GPs. We have 7 reception/admin staff. Located in Hounslow.

Job responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist patients, ensuring they are directed to the most appropriate service or healthcare professional in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Provide administrative and general support to the Practice team while delivering a friendly, approachable, and positive experience for patients and visitors, whether they are attending the Practice in person or contacting us by telephone.

Experience:

  • Experience in working with System One clinical system
  • Knowledge of Windows
  • Experience of working in primary care
