Mid Argyll Hospital is a Community Hospital on the west coast of Scotland. It provides inpatient, accident and emergency, outpatient, rehabilitation and daycase services within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients admitted to a 15 bed GP acute ward, including care for acute admissions.
- Support rehabilitation services and daycase therapies as part of the multidisciplinary team; assist with transfusions where required.
- Collaborate with the Accident & Emergency department and outpatient services to coordinate patient care.
- Contribute to care planning, implementation and evaluation of patient outcomes in inpatient services.
Qualifications and experience
- NMC registered nurse (Adult or other appropriate division).
- Experience in acute inpatient care and working within multidisciplinary teams preferred.
- Good communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
