An excellent opportunity to join the team at Higher Rolleston Farm. You must have experience in working cattle and hold a full UK driving licence. The main duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Operating farm machinery including tractors and attachments
  • Monitoring livestock
  • Handling livestock and providing appropriate accommodation for them
  • Working in a team and keeping records

Training to be provided. You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship. As you progress through your apprenticeship your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in agriculture. Training will be a mix of face to face and online learning. You will gain a Livestock Technician Level 3 qualification with further opportunities for training to Level Assistant Farm Manager, development and permanent employment upon completion.

  • Half-day trial for interview.
