Responsibilities
- Optimise the operation and control of electrical and steam generation plant.
- Comprehensive Health, Safety & Environmental Management Control.
- Manage Planned Preventive Maintenance activities.
- Develop the application of the operations team.
- Plan, prioritise and organise site requirements.
- Ensure quality standards are adhered to in line with company and client requirements.
- Manage energy performance of the installation and regularly review run regimes.
- Prepare monthly reports and meet with client management.
- Ensure all contractual deliverables and KPIs are met.
- Assist Veolia Management and Engineering teams in identifying continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Highly motivated, self‑supervising and flexible in work patterns.
- Formally qualified – minimum of HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in the maintenance and management of modern power plant; gas turbine experience is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to undertake a position of responsibility.
- Excellent communicator at all levels.
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, and Gmail.
