Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri.

Location: Liverpool, L24 9LN.

Responsibilities

  • Optimise the operation and control of electrical and steam generation plant.
  • Comprehensive Health, Safety & Environmental Management Control.
  • Manage Planned Preventive Maintenance activities.
  • Develop the application of the operations team.
  • Plan, prioritise and organise site requirements.
  • Ensure quality standards are adhered to in line with company and client requirements.
  • Manage energy performance of the installation and regularly review run regimes.
  • Prepare monthly reports and meet with client management.
  • Ensure all contractual deliverables and KPIs are met.
  • Assist Veolia Management and Engineering teams in identifying continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, self‑supervising and flexible in work patterns.
  • Formally qualified – minimum of HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in the maintenance and management of modern power plant; gas turbine experience is a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to undertake a position of responsibility.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels.
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel, and Gmail.
