The Junior Merchandiser role will have real ownership in a fast-scaling brand. This role is ideal for a strong Assistant Merchandiser or an already established Junior Merchandiser who wants more autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to influence ways of working.
Responsibilities:
- Own WSSI for your category
- Take full responsibility for a category
- Lead weekly trade meetings and identify risks, opportunities, and actions
- Build and present buy plans, sales plans, and trading insights to senior stakeholders
- Prepare and manage sign off packs and agendas
- Analyse historical performance to inform future ranges and strategy
- Manage critical path with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
- Work closely with product, design, and sourcing teams
- Contribute to improving merchandising processes as the team scales
Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently an Assistant Merchandiser ready to step up, or already operating at Junior Merchandiser level
- Experience owning or supporting a category in an apparel/retail environment
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Confident leading or contributing to trade meetings and sign offs
- Comfortable working with processes
- Commercially aware and able to spot risks and opportunities quickly
- Proactive and self-sufficient
- Own brand experience would be beneficial
