Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to oversee a solo EBD home, in Liverpool. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional committed to providing high-quality care in a supportive environment. The Deputy Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the home, supporting staff, and maintaining compliance with care standards.

Responsibilities

Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
Support children with EBD and challenging behaviours
Lead and motivate a team of care staff to deliver exceptional person-centered care
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
Assist in staff training, supervision, and development
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Support children and young people, meeting OFSTED standards

Requirements

Deputy Manager experience
Knowledge of OFSTED regulations and compliance standards
Strong communication and organizational skills
Flexibility to work a mixture of on and off-shift patterns, including approximately one sleep shift per week
Relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is preferred
