An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Legal Administrator to join a busy and successful Residential Property team based in Newcastle. This is a varied and fast paced role supporting fee earners within the Investment Property team, providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support across a range of residential property matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing files using the practice management system
- Carrying out ID checks, AML searches, media checks and conflict searches
- Preparing legal documentation including leases, contracts and epitomes of title
- Producing invoices, completion statements, paying in slips and payment requisitions
- Liaising with clients and other law firms professionally and efficiently
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
About You
- Previous experience working as a Legal Administrator or Legal Secretary within Residential Property or a similar legal environment
- Experience using case management systems
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and databases
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively in a busy environment
