We are currently seeking an experienced GP Receptionist to join a friendly and supportive practice team in Leek on a temporary ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities- Welcoming and checking in patients at reception
- Handling incoming telephone calls and general enquiries
- Booking and managing appointments
- Processing clinical correspondence and documents
- Supporting the clinical and administrative team with day-to-day tasks
- Carrying out all normal GP reception duties in line with practice procedures
- Previous experience working as a medical/GP receptionist
- Confident use of EMIS, Docman and/or AccuRx
- Must hold a basic DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, discreet, and patient-focused approach
- Consistent afternoon hours
