This role aims to develop and maintain students' curiosity, interest, and enjoyment of school with an emphasis on promoting a culture of educational excellence within a caring and supportive Catholic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Directors of Upper and Lower School in monitoring academic achievement, behaviour and attitude to learning.
- Have high expectations for all students and demand high standards of performance, attitude and behaviour in line with the aims and aspirations of this Catholic school.
- Ensure that each student's experience of their time at the college is a positive and a happy one.
- Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school to ensure high standards of learning and teaching.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be able to evidence a good standard of numeracy, literacy and ICT skills, experience of working with young people between the ages of 11 and 16 and have an understanding of behaviour management strategies.
Working Hours:
8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8:00 am to 3:30 pm on Fridays; occasional flexible working to support college meetings and events.
Employment Conditions:
Employment is conditional on confirmation of the right to work in the UK - either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa. All new appointments are made subject to the satisfactory completion of a six-month probationary period.
