The Role
- Based on site in Leeds, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of a significant section of works, working closely with operational teams to maximise project performance and profitability.
- Managing subcontractor and supplier accounts from procurement through to final account.
- Preparing valuations, applications for payment and cost reports.
- Administering NEC contracts and managing change control processes.
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
- Supporting procurement activities and supply chain management.
- Producing internal commercial reporting and forecasts.
- Mentoring and developing junior commercial team members.
About You
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure or rail projects.
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
- Currently operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to step up.
- Strong commercial, contractual and communication skills.
