PERSONAL ASSISTANT REQUIRED ONE TO ONE ONLY 11 HOURS PER WEEK BASED IN MIDDLETON LEEDS 10 MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY MORNING OR AFTERNOON.
Childcare must be in place. DBS required and references. Own car and full driving license required. Fuel allowance is paid monthly to you. Your meal when eating out is paid for you.
You must be reliable, trustworthy, and honest. This role is to look after a 34-year-old young man who likes to go on days out, see the latest films at the cinema, and attend an art class which starts at 10am and finishes at 12 on a Tuesday morning. This helps with his mental health, allows him to relax, and be creative.
He enjoys eating out, listening to and singing along to the latest music on the radio or phone, watching sports, and doing his own shopping. He is a happy-going young man who would need to link onto your arm to help support him with balance issues due to cerebral palsy and learning difficulties.
A calm and understanding personal assistant is required for this role, especially in situations like fire alarms as he is not good with noises. You would need to be calm and reassuring. He would need to use lifts instead of escalators due to balance issues.
Non-smoker or vaper is a must. When applying for this role, it is essential to have a valid driving license. A blue badge for parking is provided. Must be based in Leeds 10 or close by.
