Interim Financial Controller - Immediate Start, 3 - 6 Months, West Yorkshire
We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join on an interim basis for 3-6 months, providing immediate support across core finance operations and ensuring continuity during a busy period. This role will play a key part in maintaining financial control, reporting accuracy, and supporting senior stakeholders.
Your new role
You will play a key role within the finance team, delivering accurate reporting, strong financial control, and meaningful business insights. This is a commercial role partnering with senior stakeholders to support decision‑making and drive performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting processes
- Deliver variance analysis, forecasts, and management insights
- Prepare management accounts and reporting deliverables
- Support revenue recognition and project reporting
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making
- Manage year‑end statutory accounts and audit processes
- Partner with business leaders to enhance financial understanding
- Drive continuous improvement in finance systems and processes

Competitive daily rate up to £500 per day outside IR35
