Staffline is recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers for our client based in Sherburn in Elmet, LS25. Minimum 6 months experience required for this role.

PAYE Rates:

  • Days: £19.75 per hour
  • Nights: £20.50 per hour
  • Saturday: £21.25 per hour
  • Sunday: £22.00 per hour
  • Bank Holiday Day: £23.00 per hour
  • Bank Holiday Night: £26.99 per hour

Your Time at Work:

We are recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to deliver totes, pallets, and black boxes to stores and RDCs across local and regional routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of totes, pallets, and black boxes to stores and distribution centres
  • Operating tail lifts, pump trucks, and dock levellers
  • Completing 1-4 drops per trailer (typically 1 run, occasionally 2 per shift)
  • Ensuring safe and efficient loading/unloading of goods
  • Carrying out store deliveries, some of which involve tight access and reversing

Schedule:

Drivers mainly work Thursday to Sunday, with occasional mid-week shifts upon request. Shift start times: 04:00 for Days, 11:00 for Afternoons.

  • Digi card and DCPC
