Role Summary
Position: CSE/Complex Care - Clinical Team Lead
Location: Yorkshire region (East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire & West Humberside)
Hours: 40 hours (Monday to Friday)
Salary/Benefits: Up to £50,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and clinical governance to CSE/CC services in the region.
- Coordinate assessments and interventions for young people with complex care needs.
- Offer guidance and feedback on assessments and clinical recommendations.
- Support multi agency risk assessments in relation to CSE.
- Provide clinical supervision, training packages and bespoke workshops for teams.
- Consult and advise operational and educational colleagues.
- Maintain a small case load of direct work with young people.
- Lead and mentor a core team of one full time and three part time Mental Health Practitioners.
- Develop and deliver capacity building and training for staff.
- Work with the regional manager and regional lead for education to align service delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive knowledge of CSE/CC and multi agency safeguarding.
- Clinical practice experience with children and adolescents in residential care or systemic work with adolescents.
- Leadership experience and ability to lead by example.
- Understanding of trauma and attachment in practice.
- Registered with a relevant professional body (HCPC, NMC, SWE, BABCP).
- Strong communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Compassionate and able to engage with young people and families.
