Impact Education Multi Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional practitioner to take on the role of Lead Practitioner for Assessment and Achievement. This is a unique opportunity to work across our Trust while maintaining a teaching commitment at Lee Mount Academy (Year 6), driving improvements in teaching, learning and outcomes for pupils. This role has been created as part of our continued growth and ambition to secure consistently high standards across all our academies. You will play a key role in shaping assessment practice, supporting colleagues and ensuring that all pupils, particularly the most disadvantaged, achieve highly.

About the role

  • Lead and develop high-quality assessment practice across the Trust
  • Drive improvements in pupil achievement through effective use of data and assessment
  • Model outstanding teaching and provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues
  • Work with leaders to quality assure teaching, curriculum and outcomes
  • Design and deliver impactful professional development
  • Contribute to curriculum refinement to ensure it is ambitious, inclusive and effective

You will also teach a Year 6 class at Lee Mount Academy and contribute to the wider leadership of the school.

About you

  • Is a reflective and dedicated practitioner who thrives as part of a collaborative team
  • Has a strong understanding of assessment and uses this effectively to secure high levels of pupil achievement
  • Demonstrates effective leadership, with the ability to inspire, coach and influence colleagues at all levels
  • Is research-informed, reflective in their practice and driven by continuous improvement

You will be an experienced upper Key Stage 2 teacher with a proven track record of securing strong outcomes and the ability to influence practice beyond your own classroom.
