We are looking for a Group Manager for Consolidation/IFRS to join our Global Team. You will support our teams worldwide and Group Accounting with consolidation and accounting questions. The role can be based in our UK or Madrid Offices.
Locations: Leeds, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Madrid
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Preparation of internal management reports
- Assist with the monthly Group Consolidation process
- Ensure quality and integrity of financial and accounting data via sanity checks and balance sheet reviews
- Support our legal entities and other stakeholders in accounting and consolidation questions
- Support further development of the Group Accounting Manual in accordance with IFRS, including training of colleagues worldwide and implementation of new requirements (IFRS / SIX)
- Support the preparation of the IFRS mid-year and annual consolidated financial statements, incl. responsibility for certain notes and comments
Qualifications
- University degree in finance with focus on accounting
- Min. 5 years of working experience in a similar function, with significant multi entities experience.
- Extensive experience in practical and theoretical consolidation
- Very good IFRS knowledge, incl. practical experience
- Track record CCH Tagetik or other reporting tool would be an asset
- High analytical and conceptual abilities
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills, able to relate to a variety of stakeholders from Functions and the business
