Role Summary

We are seeking an inspiring Latin Teacher to join our team from September 2026 in a part-time 0.7 role. As a member of the Humanities and Social Sciences team, you will deliver Latin lessons and potentially teach another supporting subject.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Latin lessons that are challenging and rewarding.
• Potentially lead in another co-curriculum subject if qualified and able.
• Build positive relationships with students and act as a role model inside and outside the classroom.
• Contribute to team meetings and curriculum planning within the Humanities and Social Sciences department.
• Maintain high expectations and support student development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher with QTS or a similar teaching qualification.
• Passion for Latin, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
• Strong commitment to high expectations and the development of students’ potential.
