Bolton College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer with industry / subject specialist knowledge to enhance and develop the T Level Specialism in Motor Vehicle.
Qualifications and Experience
- Teaching qualification, PGCE or must be prepared to obtain within a specified period of time following appointment
- Relevant L3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Assessor awards A1/A2 (D32/33) & V1(D35), or prepared to obtain within a specified period of time following appointment
- Relevant, successful experience of teaching up to and including L3 qualifications (IMI/City & Guilds L1, L2, L3) in an FE College
- An in‑depth and practical knowledge of relevant subject
- Internal verification & moderation experience
Day‑to‑day Responsibilities
- Delivering teaching and learning for an agreed scheduled timetable of class contact hours
- Supporting the curriculum management on curriculum and course development
- Taking part and complying with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility
- Developing resources, supporting teaching programmes and delivering on a number of courses as required
- Supporting the achievements of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates
As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
£31,200 to £34,715 per annum (Pro‑rata) (Market Forces may apply and would allow for a salary up to £43,656 per annum) + £2,500 Golden Hello Payment (Terms and Conditions apply)
