We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Head Chef for a high end, stylish boutique restaurant in the Greater Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very busy and well established venue with an outstanding reputation for exceptional food quality and high standards of service.

The Role

  • Take full responsibility for the day to day kitchen operation, leading from the front in a fast paced fresh food environment.
  • Maintain consistently high standards while developing and motivating a strong kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full kitchen operation.
  • Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards.
  • Drive consistency in a busy fresh food environment.
  • Train, mentor and develop the kitchen team.
  • Manage GP margins, stock control and kitchen labour.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and health & safety standards.
  • Work closely with senior management to continue driving the business forward.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef within quality fresh food operations.
  • Strong background in busy, high volume dining venues.
  • Passion for fresh food and high standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Calm under pressure with strong organisational ability.
  • Commercially aware with experience managing kitchen KPIs.

Package

  • £50,000 - £52,000 basic salary.
  • Bonus and tips taking package to approximately £58,000 - £60,000.
