We're Hiring: An Acting Team Leader - Make a Real Difference Every Day!

Location: Mary Seacole House, West Houghton

Full time, 38.5 hours per week, £13.91 per hour with enhanced overtime rates.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the day to day operations alongside the Service Manager.
  • Promote daily independence in the people we support.
  • Supervise and mentor Support Workers.
  • Safely administer prescribed medication.
  • Allocate duties effectively across the team.
  • Champion person centred care and positive relationships with people and their families.
  • Maintain accurate, respectful records.
  • Promote safeguarding, confidentiality, and best practices at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience supporting adults with mental health conditions or learning disabilities in an inpatient setting or challenging environment.
  • Knowledge and experience working with drug and alcohol addiction would be advantageous.
  • Leadership experience or a strong desire to take the next step into a leadership role.
  • Empathy, resilience, and dedication to making a difference.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ideally Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working toward it).
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
