2x Fixed Term Maternity Cover Posts KS1 - Stretton St Matthew's CE Primary School

The role is required from September 2026. The Headteacher and Governors of this Church of England Academy School wish to appoint 2x passionate, caring, highly motivated and outstanding teachers to join our thriving, happy school.

  • Year 1 post: 3 days per week - likely to end February 2027
  • Year 2 post: 5 days per week - likely to end March 2027

The successful candidate will be required to apply for enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Further details can be found on the DBS website. If you are successfully shortlisted you will be required to complete a 'criminal records self-disclosure' and we will gather 2 references. An example of our reference pro forma is included in the application pack. Our recruitment process will include an observation and a formal interview. The successful candidates will be subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service with Child Barring checks and the receipt of satisfactory references. This post is not available for job share.
