Orbis Education and Care is proud to present Ty Seren, a beautiful 7-bed residential home in Swansea, designed to support adults with autism and complex needs to live safe, fulfilling, and meaningful lives. We're looking for an inspiring Deputy Manager to support in creating a warm, inclusive, and empowering environment where people feel valued, respected, and supported.
As a Deputy Manager at Ty Seren, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our individuals, supporting their daily activities, educational needs, and personal development.
Responsibilities- Support the Home Manager in achieving regulatory compliance, delivering exceptional care, and driving continuous improvement.
- Lead by example, deputising in the Manager's absence and inspiring your team to excel.
- Support staff recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including transitions for residents.
- Act as a mentor and role model, ensuring the team delivers the highest standard of care.
- Achieved/working towards QCF Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care (or currently working towards one).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in care, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and the Active Support model.
- Experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities.
- A genuine passion for improving lives.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS with barred list check.
- Fully paid induction, DBS & Social Care Wales registration.
- Funded Health & Social Care qualifications.
