Required for September 2026. NJC: Points 15 to 20 (start point dependent on experience). Term time only. Salary: £30,024 to £32,597 FTE (£2702 - £2934 per month). Thomas Keble is a comprehensive school located in the Cotswolds serving students aged 11-16. Due to the retirement of the current postholder, we are looking to appoint a Governance Professional to act as Clerk to the Trustees and to advise the Board on all aspects of governance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an efficient and professional clerking service to the Trust Board, including procedural advice in carrying out statutory obligations and administrative support in fulfilling strategic functions.
  • Prepare all Board and Committee meetings and minute them accurately.
  • Have good understanding of school governance.
  • Work flexibly, adapting working hours to attend all Board and Committee meetings and other activities as required by the Board.
  • Communicate effectively, ensuring all Trustees are kept informed and equipped to perform their duties.
