SGS College is seeking an exceptional leader to become our first ever Chief Strategy Officer. This role is a brand new, top-tier position reporting to the CEO & Principal.
Over the last year we have been working on our new strategy. SGS 2031: Get Future Ready sets an ambitious vision for the role the College will play in delivering economic growth and social cohesion in communities across Bristol, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire. We now need to deliver on that promise and our Chief Strategy Officer will play the lead role in ensuring that we do.
This role needs somebody who can lead with clarity and dynamism, working closely with external stakeholders to position SGS as a leading voice in local and national skills development. You may have deep experience in FE, or you may never have worked in the sector before. Your sectoral experience matters less than your desire to make a difference, and your ability to lead and work closely with others to deliver a more strategic approach to everything we do.
