Ivetsey Bank Hospital is a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) hospital for young people aged 12-18 with a diagnosed mental health condition. We're committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy and empowered, enabling them to live the best life possible.

What you'll be working:

  • We're flexible, so you'll work a total of 37.62 hours per week, on a rota basis.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing clinical leadership to the nursing team and ensuring the provision of high-quality individualised person-centred standards of care are delivered to all patients.
  • Ensuring the effective supervision and development of staff.
  • Working and acting as a key member of the team, supporting each patient with achieving their planned outcomes.
  • Acting as the lead nurse in the assessment, implementation of care through to the point of discharge.
  • Taking charge of the clinical area.
  • Taking a lead on developing and maintaining communication with patients, relatives, families, and carers.
  • Adopting a flexible approach to hours of duty, in order to meet the needs of the service over a 24-hour period.
  • Working according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

What you'll have:

  • A current NMC Pin registration.
  • A legal right to work in the U.K.
  • CAMHS Experience (Desirable).
