Are you an experienced transport professional? Do you need a new challenge? Here at GXO, we're looking for a proactive Transport Team Leader to join our Primark Thrapston site. You'll keep our transport operation running smoothly, ensure compliance, and drive team performance. If you thrive in a fast paced environment, love problem solving, and have a passion for motivating people, this role is for you. This is a full time, permanent position. You will work Friday to Tuesday, 10:00 till 18:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of £35,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day
- Lead daily transport operations, ensuring smooth and efficient performance
- Drive compliance with all administrative, legislative, and security requirements
- Collaborate across departments to prevent delays and keep customers informed
- Manage and motivate teams, including drivers and admin staff, through coaching and development
- Oversee performance and safety, from tachograph records to accident investigations and vehicle defect management
What you need to succeed at GXO
- Detail driven and organised, with strong prioritisation skills and accuracy in all tasks
- Experienced in transport or fast paced operations, with solid knowledge of EU regulations and drivers' working time directives
- Excellent communicator and problem solver, confident engaging at all levels and working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Tech savvy and adaptable, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with transport systems (advantageous)
