The Role

As Policy and Partnerships Manager, you will help strengthen our influence, visibility and impact across the skills and workforce development landscape. Specifically, you will shape credible, evidence informed policy positions and forge influential partnerships that increase our impact in national policy debates, securing stronger government attention, funding and support for skills and workforce development. You will also monitor and interpret political, regulatory and funding developments, providing timely, evidence based insight to shape effective influencing strategies and strengthen our position.

Additionally, you will:

  • Represent us in external forums, consultations and policy groups
  • Produce clear policy briefings, reports and thought leadership content
  • Develop and maintain policy positions across priority areas
  • Align evidence, messaging and engagement with internal teams
  • Build and co-ordinate cross sector partnerships and coalitions

About You

To be considered as a Policy and Partnerships Manager, you will need:

  • Proven experience engaging with government departments, agencies or parliamentary bodies
  • Experience influencing policy through consultations, advisory groups or strategic government partnerships
  • Experience producing high quality policy outputs
  • Excellent communication, writing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to analyse complex information and provide clear recommendations
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. public policy, politics, economics, social sciences) or equivalent experience
  • A full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to our location)
