Class 1 HGV Night Driver

Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Night Drivers to work for our client based at East Midlands Gateway. Our client is able to offer Class 1 Drivers long term ongoing work with opportunities to go permanent as well. You will undertake trunking work on both box trailers and curtain siders to RDC's and NDC's around the UK.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday Night shift start windows available

Responsibilities:

  • The successful Class 1 HGV Night Driver will:
  • Have held a valid Class 1 Licence for a minimum of 6 months
  • Have a valid tacho and DQC card
  • Have a positive can do attitude

Duties:

  • Trunking between company sites and RDC's / NDC's
  • Following safe systems of work and company policy

Pay:

  • Nights - £18.75 per hour
  • Nights OT after 9.6 hours daily - £28.12 per hour
