The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

Commercial, people first leader to operate one of our large format Donation Centres (roughly 8,000 sq ft) handling up to 10 tonnes of donated goods a week within The Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL). You will generate and manage stock, lead a predominantly volunteer team, build community relationships, and drive commercial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day operations and financial performance of the donation centre
  • Recruit, coach and retain a bank of volunteers for sorting, repair and up cycling tasks
  • Build and nurture local partnerships with businesses, Salvation Army Corps and individuals to secure donations and volunteer skills
  • Use social media and creative promotions to attract supporters and increase footfall
  • Lead a diverse team, inspiring motivation and creating a positive workplace culture
  • Ensure high quality service for donors, customers and the wider community
