We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and inspirational nursery practitioners to join our expanding team at our flagship nursery, Smarties at Rastrick and also support our new Nursery, Smarties at Salterlee. You may be required to work across both sites. We have a relentless focus on working to provide the best possible support and care to each and every one of our children to ensure that they reach their full potential.

Hours of work Monday to Friday; between the hours of 7am to 6 pm (40 hours per week). Applicants can apply to work All Year Round or Term Time Only. We will also consider applicants looking for part time hours.

What you offer:

  • Experience of working as a Nursery Practitioner in a childcare setting.
  • Completed CWDC, relevant NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification.
  • Understand the importance of Safeguarding policies and procedures, importance of H&S, and food hygiene in the workplace.
  • A team player is essential.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments will be subject to receipt of satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, pre-employment checks and a probation period.
