Your new role in Indirect Tax Advisory:
Working for a well-established advisory tax practice you will be at the heart of an exciting and growing firm who are doing things slightly different to a typical general practice. You will be working in a growing indirect tax team getting involved in a range of VAT advisory matters with a client base including large businesses down to SMEs & Start-ups. A very interesting operation across the UK you will form part of a national advisory team being based in Manchester. This organisation offers exciting and challenging work, without a big firm feel.
A snapshot of key responsibilities include:
- Working directly with partner team planning and implementing VAT work.
- Projects will include restructuring/reorganisations, M&A tax structuring, due diligence and other transaction work.
- Technical report writing supporting clients.
- Working with other tax areas to support on wider tax advisory matters.
- Working across the wider team to spot cross selling opportunities.
What you'll need to be successful:
- UK indirect tax/VAT experience in a similar role working for an accountancy firm or supporting an in-house operation with advisory services.
- CTA/ACA/ATT qualified (however substantial experience can also be considered).
- A passion for indirect tax advisory with a can do attitude.
- Ability to demonstrate delivery of VAT advisory and complex compliance projects.
