An established and well-regarded business is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its finance team in Thurrock. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a structured working environment, clear responsibilities, and long-term stability. Key Responsibilities

  • Processing approximately 500 purchase invoices per month
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Handling supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Supporting month-end processes
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Office-based role in Thurrock

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a consistent monthly workload
