About the Role

Join Sodexo as a Ward Host at Nuffield Health Brentwood and play a vital role in delivering high quality food services to patients, staff, and visitors. You'll support kitchen operations, maintain excellent hygiene standards, and provide outstanding customer service in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations in line with Service Level Agreements and contractual standards
  • Assist with preparing meals for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
  • Work alongside the chefs and support with administration duties
  • Help manage and maintain acceptable stock levels and consumption
  • Ensure all audits achieve a pass rating and required documentation is completed
  • Support initiatives to increase and maintain revenue in the staff restaurant
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and staff

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent food preparation and presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills and a customer focused approach
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 (or equivalent)
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification
