Here at S J Bargh, we have an amazing opportunity for a Farm Collection Supervisor (Nights) to join the team based in Stoke on Trent. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis working 4 on 4 off, 12 hours shifts, specifically 6pm - 6am.
Responsible To: Farm Collection Manager
Job Purpose: To ensure the smooth operation of the daily collection and delivery of raw milk from contracted farms ensuring maximum efficiency within the respective fleet.
Core Responsibilities:
- To plan and execute a driver rota system that provides the required level of resource.
- To route the milk collections into the most efficient routes whilst working within the constraints given by the customer.
- To respond to the daily changes inherent with milk collection volumes.
- To ensure that drivers adhere to all relevant procedures regarding carrying out their duties and to monitor the performance of drivers within the company's expectations, doing this by way of driver audits.
- To manage milk volumes for transhipment and onward movement, liaising with the Reload operation to ensure all reloaded trailers are communicated in a timely manner.
