Join Our HR Team at Invictus Education Trust! Vacancy for HR Support Officer commencing as soon as possible. Permanent, 37 hours per week, all year round. Grade 7 SCP 18-23 (£31,537 - £34,434 FTE).

About the Role

As an HR Support Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting day to day HR operations and will be a visible presence in our schools. You'll provide essential administrative support across recruitment, payroll, employee relations, training and development, and compliance. This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to grow your HR expertise in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support on site across schools within the Trust
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure policy compliance
  • Support school leaders with employee relations and staff welfare
  • Coordinate and assist with staff training and development
  • Respond to HR queries and provide appropriate guidance

What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3/CIPD Level 3 or equivalent relevant experience, with a good standard of English and Maths
  • Experience: A successful track record in managing and developing HR processes such as recruitment, payroll, probationary periods, and low level casework
  • Skills: Highly skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MIS systems, as well as applicant tracking systems
  • Analytical Ability: The ability to analyse data and present findings clearly to various audiences
  • Attention to Detail: Consistently accurate in your work
  • Independence & Teamwork: Able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with others
