During a time of exciting and continued growth, we are looking for an HR Manager to join our dynamic team, onsite at our cutting edge manufacturing site in Brockworth, near Gloucester. Dowty (a GE Aerospace business) is a turnkey, self-contained manufacturing site, producing market leading hand made composite carbon fibre propeller systems to Civil and Defence partners around the world.
Roles and Responsibilities
- A first point of contact for employees and managers, providing coaching and support for individual employee needs and HR processes within an HR Partnership Model.
- Act as HR Manager of record for a client group, understanding key business drivers to accomplish work and integrating team activities with other teams.
- Develop in depth knowledge of discipline and execute functional policy/strategy using prior experience and acquired expertise.
- Serve as an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills, communicating with colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members, explaining complex information in straightforward situations.
- Impact projects, processes and procedures in own field, operating with autonomy while focusing on execution of activities and provision of advice within standard functional practices and procedures.
- Utilize technical expertise and judgement to solve problems, leveraging analytic thinking and internal sources to arrive at decisions.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires advanced experience in Human Resources and Employee Human Resource Management.
- Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent industry gained experience.
