Edgbaston Priory Club is looking for a proactive and detail focused HR Administrator to support our Head of People and Culture on a part time basis, working one day per week. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR administration experience seeking flexible work, or a student studying Human Resources looking to gain hands on experience.
The HR Administrator will provide administrative support across a variety of HR activities, helping to ensure the smooth running of day to day HR operations. The role includes:
- Maintaining employee records
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
- Minute taking for investigation and disciplinary meetings
- Processing references and Right to Work documentation
- Assisting with internal staff communications and newsletters
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding administration
- Preparing contracts, letters, and HR documentation
- Maintaining accurate HR records and databases
- Seeking and processing employee references
- Supporting Right to Work checks and associated documentation
- Taking accurate minutes during investigation and disciplinary meetings where required
- Assisting with internal staff communications and newsletters
- Monitoring absence, holiday, and training records
- Responding to routine HR queries
- Supporting the Head of People and Culture with general HR administration
- Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
