An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Manager to join our busy Dorchester office, which manages a large portfolio of residential let properties across the West Dorset area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing our clients with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service, including liaising with landlords, tenants and internal stakeholders. Compliance is also a key part of this role; ensuring that our landlords and tenants comply with up-to-date legislation for residential properties. The candidate will work closely with the local team to exceed our clients’ expectations. The role requires resilience, prioritisation, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. This is a full-time position with salary negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a friendly and dependable service to landlords, tenants and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure landlords and tenants comply with current residential property legislation.
  • Work with the local team to meet (and exceed) client expectations.
  • Grow the portfolio and develop processes to support business objectives.

Qualifications

  • ARLA qualification (or progressing towards Level 3 ARLA).
  • At least 2 years of lettings experience.
  • Outgoing and confident personality.
  • Pro-active and driven approach to work.
  • Highly organised administrative and typing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient MS Office skills.
  • Driver’s license and access to own vehicle.
