What you can expect to be doing

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Dorset Council's successful Litigation Team as a Paralegal. You will be providing legal support to the Lawyers that is interesting and varied in various practice areas such as criminal and civil litigation. The activities will include research, drafting and attending court. You will be part of a supportive team which meets weekly to discuss and review cases, with regular 1:1s with your line manager.

About you

You need to have a positive can-do attitude and work well as part of a team and on your own. You should be able to communicate well both orally and in writing.

Travel and vehicle

This post requires significant travel. You must have a vehicle (or transport we deem suitable) available for use as needed.

Working with vulnerable groups

This post involves working with children and/or vulnerable adults and/or having access to significant information about them. It will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
