About the Role

Are you passionate about history, community, and making a meaningful contribution? George Watson's College is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to join our team of archive volunteers within the Development Office. This is a unique opportunity to help preserve the rich heritage of our school and play a vital role in fostering the strong sense of community that defines our alumni network.

How You'll Help

  • Cataloguing
  • Supporting our programme of annual reunions by identifying materials and stories of interest to our community
  • Undertaking collection handling tasks to ensure items are conserved appropriately
  • Carrying out light desk research
  • Providing general support to the Development Office team where needed
