How the role will make an impact

The Production Operative based at our Henlow site will be able to impart knowledge and aid development, customer orientated whilst understanding the company needs. Hours are 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am on a 2-week rotation.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • To manufacture weather seals in a safe manner.
  • Replacement of raw materials to ensure continuous production.
  • Quality control checks on profiles.
  • Achieve the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Targets (OEE, Scrap, OTIF, Quality Standards, Throughput and Productivity).
  • Ensure informative handover is effectively communicated to succeeding operator, any points of note written, signed and dated; in handover book.

Key Skills

  • Previous exposure to a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Tools and Techniques.
  • SAP experience.
  • Good experience with Microsoft Office.
