Department of Health Policy LSE Fellow in Health Policy
Salary from £43,277 to £51,714 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £55,497 pa inclusive of London allowance. This is a career development position and is fixed term for two years. An LSE Fellowship is intended to be an entry route to an academic career and is deemed by the School to be a career development position. As such, applicants who have already been employed as a LSE Fellow for three years in total are not eligible to apply. If you have any queries about this please contact the HR Division.
About the Department
The LSE Department of Health Policy aims to advance knowledge and understanding of health care systems through undertaking post-graduate and executive teaching, and through research and scholarship at the highest international quality standards to the benefit of the international and national health policy community.
Responsibilities
The post holder will contribute to the scholarship and intellectual life of the Department and LSE by conducting teaching and research which will enhance the School's reputation as a research-led teaching institution. They will contribute to teaching on all programmes in the Department Health Policy.
Qualifications
Candidates should have completed or be close to completing a PhD in health policy, health economics or health services research, by the post start date. A developing research record in health policy and excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Candidates will also be able to demonstrate an ability to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment.
