Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail? If so, at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Haverhill CB9 OBQ. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands.
About the role
This role will cover a variety of categories including Toys and Gift Cards. Confirmed working days/hours: 8 hours per week. Monday 08:00 start, Thursday 08:00 start, Saturday 16:00 start. Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!
Responsibilities
- Compliance and Standards - follow merchandising standards, store policies, procedures and health & safety guidance; implement planograms where provided for consistency and compliance.
- Product Placement and Replenishment - arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
- Promotional and Point of Sale Setup - set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts and special offers.
- Strong communication and relationship building - build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, department and store managers; provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application.
Qualifications
- Experience or passion for merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take ownership of work within set time frames, using initiative to find solutions.
- Take pride in delivering high standards and excellent service for clients.
- Comfortable with manual handling - able to move and arrange products from warehouse to shop floor.
- Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
- Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car is required.
